Best Time to Visit

This circuit is best enjoyed between May and September. During this period, the Cultural Triangle, hill country (Kandy, Ella) and east coast (Arugam Bay, Pasikuda) all experience their optimal dry conditions. Arugam Bay's surf season peaks April to October. Minneriya and Sigiriya are accessible year-round, with The Gathering of elephants most dramatic between July and October.
